I want to take some time and thank so many people for this past weekend.
On Saturday our doors were open once again to serve our neighbors from the food pantry. Thanks to everyone, including scouts, who come early and stay late.
For Sunday worship, I want to thank our worship team who consistently invite others to join singing hymns, praise songs, gospel songs and other specials. As we discovered this week there are no limits to who will practice on Wednesday and sing on Sunday as one of our children joined with the team. This was a wonderful culmination to our birthday celebration in the gym Sunday afternoon. I want to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this a wonderful celebration of the lives who make GracePoint such a great church.
For months I have prayed and had conversations with many of you to discern the GracePoint way. It’s weekends like this that clarify that vision more and more. Thank you for not hiding your light under a basket.
